I'm trying to use the alternative account number in the G/L Account Master Data to create a separate FSV for one of our businesses. But I can't quite figure it out. One of our companies is required by law to report according to different General Ledger account numbers, so I figured I could use alternative account numbers and a Country Chart of Accounts to create a FSV which shows the alternative accounts with the figures from the standard accounts we use.
The situation is that we have 1 Chart of Accounts for all our companies. For one of our companies, we have assigned a Country Chart of Accounts as well. So I want to use this Country Chart of Accounts and I want to use the alternative account to create a different FSV. A different FSV has been created and assigned to the Country Chart of Accounts.
So I've been trying to test this by assigning an alternative account to one of the 'normal' accounts and then booking some figures on this account. Then I want to run a balance / P+L overview to see if it works. But if I use F.01 to generate a balance / P+L I can only enter our Chart of Accounts in combination with the company code, I can't use the Country Chart of Accounts as a selection. So I use our Chart of Accounts and as FSV I use the seperately created FSV which only has the alternative account assigned. But running it only gives me the original account in the overview of 'Not Assigned Accounts'.
If I look at FSP0 at the alternative account in the Country Chart of Accounts, it has been created. So the alternative account exists in the Country Chart of Accounts, but not in Chart of Accounts.
Obviously I'm missing something somewhere, but I can't figure out what it is.
