I'm facing a business requirement for a particular process in which we have Sales Orders for Make-to-Order products and then these create a Planned orders for those products with the components.
The requirement is to perform an availability check for the components in order to see if we can handle the delivery date or change it.
For example, customer request the product for 10.May. But one of the components have a shortage so there will be stock until 5.JUN so the new delivery date will be 5.JUN (or later).
Points to consider:
-Make-to-order scenario, so no stock for parent material (and not need of av. check there).
-BOM is a super BOM (we mantain variant configuration).
