Need your inputs as am new to assets. I am uploading assets from legacy system into SAP. I have the list of assets where some assets are very old. When i try to upload this using AS91 the system gives an error "Exter rate xxx/xxx type M in the system settings". I have checked OB08 and looks the rates are not maintained. Since these assets are very old do I need to maintain old rates in order to upload these old assets? This seems unrealistic as each of the asset has different capitalization date and are very old.
what would be the normal or the best practice to upload such old assets.
