I'm in the process of turning on "Price" updates for Order Confirmaiton coming back in to us from Supplier. I believe my ORDERSP IDOC structure and confirmation control key is set up correctly and the vendor has been souced properly so that when they send back an order confirmaiton it requires them to provide us with a price update for the PO line item. In our QA system, It is working just fine when they send back a $ amount inthe ORDRSP IDOC - it updates the price on the PO line into Purchasing Price Conditions “EDI1 –Confirmed Price” ...this is all good.
However, in testing, they have been sending some confirmations back as "$0.00" price on the ORDRSP IDOC and the IDOC fails to post because the PO Line requires a price. When the supplier is sending some of these as $0.00 they are doing it on purpose as they will not be invoicing us for the PO line item. My question, on these is there a way through the Order Confirmation to select the "Free of Charge" indicator for anything that comes back to us with $0.00 price? I don't see a way to do this (other than Custom solution) but I wanted to check with all of you.
