Dear Expert,
Greetings I'm configuring alternative sales document type in VOV8.
It means for one sales document any other two sales document can be assigned as an alternative sales document.
So that users can switch over into any other alternative sales document with out exiting from present one.
Ex. OR - RO & CS
RO-OR & CS
CS-OR & RO
Please help me how to configure it and suggest suggest what are the prerequisites condition for it.

When I issue a PO and then GR in a simple way, there is no problem and I can issue invoice by MIRO. But when I assign an invoicing plan in invoive tab of PO and then save the PO and GR, while issuing invoice in MIRO I face this error:
"Document does not contain any items
Message no. M8063
Diagnosis
The document contains no posting lines with a value other than zero.
System Response
The system will not save the document"

Each one of these splits have a different Valuation type.
Now, we need to update the Standard price for each one of these splits for a future date.
I've made some tests:
1. Tried to update the STD price by entering the "Future price" and "Future price from" in the Accounting 1 view followed by CKME t.code run,
but it only updates the standard price and not the "Per. unit price" .
2. Updated the STD price using t.code MR21 , the update seems to be right but I can't make the update with a future date because the future periods are closed.
What is the right way to handle that issue?

We have an issue in our production system, where in vendor checks from one of our house banks are not auto clearing.
process followed is:
periodically we receive the bank statements electronically in EDI
FINSTA-format. Before FINSTA we upload FIDCC2 to post accounting doc ZS
and then subsequently FINSTA uploaded to auto clear the ZS Doc.
The EDI file is converted to IDOC.
The IDOCs are uploaded to SAP.
Then the batch job will run transaction FEBP. This will post ZR doc with reference field xblrn having the check number.
external transaction 057 is configured - interpretation algo 21 - reference document. posting rules y11 & y12 for +,- postings. I can see in we02 that respective idoc (for which check is not auto clearing in FEBA) has field BUSZBE-057, but in FEBA it shows as 475.
I can also see the same in tables FEBKO & FEBEP. bank statement is interpreted & it shows ext transation 475
So basically during auto clearing ext transaction 475-interpretation algo 11 is triggered instead of 057.
We are using enhancement FEB00001 with exit RFEBBU10_001 wherein we have inserted coding to clear GL open items with clearing logic on the basis of search XBLNR for FEBEP_INTAG -as 21 interpretation algo
few more findings:
-in my test system i am able to trigger fresh finsta (post corresponding ZS doc manually using fb01-ref field filled) & execute FEBP, system clears it with 057.
-this issue is coming for a particular partner, but i can see any reason for same as ZS document (posted by idoc FIDCCP02 has a field for partner, finsta doesnt even have it & ZS document is successfully posted few days before only.
- i have checked my refrence field-XBLNR in both document ZS/ZR - it is of 10 digits alwayz hence no issue w.r.t to leading zeros.
Requesting for your help in finding a fix.

We're using route schedules for shipping scheduling and have the following problem:
We have a route with a transit time of 5 days and a dependend route schedule with 1 day specific transit time. According the afore mentioned note 547961 the 5 days should not matter in scheduling. But when entering a sales order position using this route schedule, goods issue date is being forwarded (at least) 5 days to the future and then the 1 day specific transit time is being added.
Note 547961 states that when using route schedules with specific transit time, route transit time will not be used ("If you use a route schedule, the transit duration of the route schedule is used instead of the transit duration of the route. For detailed information on this, see Note 146829."). Note 146829 tells us to define a route transit time of at least the maximum specific transit time ("Since the transit time and the specific transit time depend on each other in terms of business management, you should enter a transit time that is the same as or greater than the specific transit time for the last point.").
With this system behaviour it is not possible to correctly determine delivery dates for route schedules scheduled within the next days, because route transit time always forwards it to the "far" future.
Is there anything we can do to prevent this kind of behaviour?

Currently I activate retention amount functionality.
I did the customization at SPRO- MM- LIV- Incoming invoice- Maintain Number Assignments for Accounting Documents, then maitain new doc. type &assign no. range for that for FI. Then come to third box, Doc. types in Invoice verification. click on MIRO, assign the doc. type which you created for retention money for FI.
Now you can post the doc. There will be 2 FI documents created one for normal transaction & another for retention money.
Now I have to reverse the MIRO in MR8M .System gives me error .Assign document type Please hep how to solve this issue.

hi, what is the reason to have multiple tax percentage rates in FTXP for tax code? I have just revied configured tax codes and found 3 tax codes with VST (19%) and ESA (-19%) maintained both rates are assigned to GL accounts that are defines for INPUT TAX, thank you for help and info

our requirement is to add the new targets for the year 2013 in KEPM transaction. We have given new values to upload. but when we try to change the previous year values with new values system is not allowing to update the new values.
Planning levels are updated with reference to last years values, But in planning methods while entering planing new values in ENTER PLANNING DATA, system is not allowing to svae.
Can you please help me in understanding the process of uploading the new valuies for new fiscal year.

3.then remaining 20 qty vendor did some damage he cant give it back with / with out plating,

I need to create a branch office to one of our existing company codes. It will be in a different country and will be in different currency. It will have employees, expense reports, fixed assets, financials. Eventually it will have sales and purchases. The catch is that it needs to roll/report financially in the "parent" company code.
Our current structure is that one company code is assigned to (the same) one company. We have one chart of accounts. We are on New GL in ECC6.0 (SP604). We have one SAP production instance (no cross boxes). We utilize BI and BPC for reporting. We do not use special purpose ledger. We do not utilize business areas. We only have 3 profit centers in each company code (2 types of production and 1 that is "other").
I have read in SCN and SAP what the difference between a company and a company code is. I also know that I can assign company codes to a company.
What I don't find is any detailed information.
1. Will all the financials roll into the company? If yes, how? Do I need special reports, etc.
2. Can I move a company code from it's existing company to the new company code? What are the implications of doing this?
3. Are there any unique requirements (such as special purpose ledger) required to make this work?
I'm sure I have many other questions that I don't even know to ask. I think creating the company and then assigning the current office and also the new branch office will be what I need.
Does anyone have any further insight into doing this? Or, a link to additional information/documentation would also be helpful.

I want to modify master_idoc_data segment record....and i have exit HR_OUT_GEN_EXIT_4.
But it is not trrigering ....i checked the standtard code ...and found a below codititon...
o_mend ne space at line number 42 ...it is not satiffying and so the exit HR_OUT_GEN_EXIT_4 is not triggering.
is there any SPRO setting ?
Please provide your suggestion so that i can able to trigger exit .
